Request for Proposals

The Inland Empire Regional K-16 Education Collaborative is now accepting applications for funding. The application period will remain open through November 17, 2023.

The Inland Empire Regional K-16 Education Collaborative was created to streamline equitable pathways from high school to postsecondary education and into the workforce for the most marginalized and under-served students in the Inland Empire region. Collaborative proposals from Inland Empire K-12 schools/districts, California community colleges, and public 4-year universities are now being accepted.

This grant program focuses on funding activities of partners to support the following overarching goals:

  1. Build intersegmental, sustainable and inclusive educational partnerships to support first-generation, low-income and historically marginalized populations of students to pursue post-secondary education attainment

  2. Streamline priority pathways to degree completion

  3. Create employer and workforce partnerships to support student success beyond degree completion

Proposals will be funded to implement one of the four prioritized pathways and must include implementation of at least two Recovery With Equity recommendations along with the Inland Empire Regional K-16 Education Collaborative’s overarching goals, key elements, and design principles. To strengthen intersegmental collaboration; partner participation is unlimited and proposals are encouraged to include more than the required number of partners.
